Welcome — The Math Trauma Patient
The Math Trauma Patient
Restoring the Shut-Down Learner
Welcome. This course is an emergency-room approach to math anxiety — the systemic failure of confidence that leaves capable students "flatlining" the moment a problem feels hard. You'll leave with high-impact, ready-to-run routines that jump-start curiosity and trade self-doubt for a pulse of empowerment.

Welcome. This course is an emergency-room approach to math anxiety — the systemic failure of confidence that leaves capable students "flatlining" the moment a problem feels hard. You'll leave with high-impact, ready-to-run routines that jump-start curiosity and trade self-doubt for a pulse of empowerment.
How this course works
- Self-paced. Move through the sections in order; each builds on the last.
- Try the routines yourself. You'll experience each activity as a learner before you're asked to reflect on it as a teacher.
- Reflection prompts replace the live turn-and-talks. Jot your responses in a notebook or your LMS journal — they're where the real learning sticks.
- A short knowledge check closes the course.
